Assorted Flavors is a high energy Rock, Blues, Funk, Reggae band from southern Indiana.  With styles ranging from artist such as Led Zeppelin, Allman Brothers , Sublime, to Chris Stapleton, Ray Lamontagne, Micheal Jackson to Freddie King , SRV, Bob Marley and so many other's, we've always considered ourselves a mixture of all the flavors of music.  Since the beginning of the band we've made our presence known around our hometown by first winning the Madison Regatta Battle of the Bands in 2003 which kickstarted us into playing clubs and festivals around Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio for the last 20 years. With a somewhat rotating cast in the beginning, the current lineup has been the same for the last 10 years.  Founding members Daniel Melvin, David Lewis, and Tyson Woods all started the band with a group of friends just having fun playing music, and through time and practice it  has evolved into what it is today. Kyle Lovins was brought into the picture and was a solid foundation drummer to compliment the thumping, hard-driving, funky-fun  bass laid down by David Lewis. Along with Tyson Woods steady, smooth rythyms and Dans melodic lead guitar, and soulful voice, it all feeds off each other to make the Assorted Flavors sound.  Every member has  been playing music since at least high school and has built a following over the years, whether with other bands , on their own solo, or with Assorted Flavors, making our shows turn into a party almost everywhere we go. With a good list of covers that everybody knows, and some catchy original tunes thrown in, it's hard not to hang around and watch the show or get up and dance and have a good time.  We've opened for such bands as Marshal Tucker Band, The Why Store, Devon Allmans Honeytribe, , and HyRyder. We've thrown hometown 4th of July concerts at our city park, have played numerous private parties, and also many bars and nightclubs throughout the years making us very versatile and ready to setup, jam and make a party happen at your club, event, or private party.
